The European Night of Museums 2019

Since 2005, selected European museums have exceptionally opened for a night, free of charge, as part of European Museum Night. The event takes place on the closest Saturday to 18 May, simultaneously in countries that have signed the Council of Europe’s cultural convention.

Museums taking part in European Museum Night usually open to the public free of charge between 6 pm and midnight. Most museums offer special activities for this original night, aimed at all audiences: storytelling tours, torch-lit tours, concerts, workshops for children, screenings, fireworks, ect… Children and adults, lovers of music, live performance, literature and art in a more general sense, all gather here for a unique night.

This year 2019, also our #BorgoMuseo will join - for the first time - this European cultural event! Soon, we’ll publish more info and details about our “Night at the Museum”… And it’s a promise: we’ll organise something very special for you! ;)

In the meanwhile, discover more about this European project (that was founded in France) visiting the official website: nuitdesmusees.culture.gouv.fr
